Raising a Glass, Raising Hope: Rush & Diana’s Second Year Supporting Move For Jenn
Last year, Rush and Diana caught our attention with their passion, creativity, and generosity as they turned their love for craft beer into a powerful force for good. Their first year of fundraising for the Move For Jenn Foundation was nothing short of inspiring—an effort born from community, rare beer, and a shared drive to make a difference in the lives of those affected by sarcoma - just like Diana was. This year, they returned with even more heart, more hops, and more impact, raising over $1,000 for the Move For Jenn Foundation.
A Lager Festival with a Big Purpose
This spring, Rush and Diana were once again invited to participate in Human Robot's LogJammin V, an annual lager festival that raises funds for the Michael James Jackson Foundation. For the second year in a row, Rush and Diana used this opportunity to raise additional funds for the Move For Jenn Foundation—combining their love of craft beer with their passion for making a difference.
Rush and Diana ran a silent auction during the event, featuring rare beer packages, limited merch, and incredibly generous donations from friends, breweries, and even iconic brands like Underberg. One highlight? A special donation from the legendary Garrett Oliver himself—an exclusive beer package from his personal cellar, with bottles dating back to the 90s!
Crafting Impact One Pour at a Time
In addition to the auction, Rush and Diana added another flavorful layer to the festival: a raffle for rare stouts and barleywines, offering attendees the chance to win a 3-oz pour of deeply complex, bold brews amidst a sea of crispy lagers. Tickets were just $5, and each one came with the potential for a prize unlike anything else at the festival. Many of the beers were from Rush and Diana’s personal collection, and this year they were joined by generous donations—including a show-stopping contribution from a friend and brewer at Side Project Brewing in St. Louis.
Once again, Rush and Diana poured their energy into our mission, bringing the beer community into the fight against a rare and often overlooked cancer, sarcoma.
What’s Next: A Raffle with Wings
Their support doesn’t end with LogJammin. Rush and Diana have already set aside another incredible beer package to be raffled off later this year during Melesa’s Wings, an annual beer community fundraiser created in memory of a beloved mother lost to cancer. This year, Melesa’s Wings will expand its reach, partnering with multiple cancer-focused foundations—and Rush and Diana will once again donate their raffle proceeds to Move For Jenn.
Cheers to Rush and Diana, whose passion for craft beer is matched only by their compassion for others. Thank you for continuing to turn rare pours into real hope.
