Help us Raise $5,000 During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Fundraising update as of October 15, 2025: Over $38,000 raised!

--

Led by our Board of Directors President, Jenny Sage, the Move For Jenn Foundation is on a mission to raise $5,000 during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

Jenny is the mom of three, including one set of twins. One of her twins, Gracie, was diagnosed with sarcoma in June of 2022, launching Jenny and her family into the sarcoma community - a place they never imagined they would be, and a place they continue to make a tremendous impact.

While Gracie is currently in remission, the entire Sage family continues tirelessly on their mission to raise awareness of sarcoma and childhood cancer, as well as raise funds for sarcoma specific research.

Earlier this year, Gracie and Jenny participated in the inaugural Sarcoma Hill Day where they met with members of Congress and their staff, educating them about the challenges faced by the sarcoma community as well as the pediatric cancer community.

As Jenny shared on her Instagram, "No child should have to face cancer, but every child should have our support in the fight. Every child deserves a lifetime of dreams, not a battle for survival. This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, let’s stand together, share their stories, and amplify their courage. Your voice could be the one that sparks change."

As a part of the 2024 Move For Jenn Open, we were able to share the news that the Move For Jenn Foundation was able to gift $30,000 to a Levine Cancer Institute sarcoma specific research project thanks to Jenny and Gracie!

With thanks to our Board of Directors President, Jenny Sage, and her daughter Gracie, Levine will be able to test the genomic makeup of sarcoma tumors through this research project. This will allow the doctors to see what treatments are responsive and which aren’t. The project will also allow over 100 children to have better treatment options for their sarcoma by being more efficient with treatments that are receptive and not putting patients through treatments that are not.

But we're not done yet! Jenny and Gracie are working to raise an additional $30,000 to close out funding for the entire research project.

Not only is this project near and dear to our hearts because it is sarcoma specific and will help kids just like Gracie who went through treatment at Levine, Jenn also received her treatment at Atrium. We are also thrilled to be able to keep funds local to the Move For Jenn hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Want to help us raise an additional $5,000 this September so we can fund the entire $60,000 project? Your gift of any size will help us get there as we work to raise an additional $30,000 before the end of the year!
