Are you a sarcoma warrior, friend or family member of a sarcoma warrior, or someone who just wants to make a difference? Learn more about sarcoma, a rare cancer, below.
Sarcoma is a rare cancer, often considered to be the “forgotten cancer,” making up just 1% of all adult cancer diagnoses and 15% of all childhood cancer diagnoses.
There are two broad categories for sarcoma. The first category is soft tissue sarcoma, which means that the cancer arises in the soft tissue elements of anywhere in the body (extremity, chest, abdomen, etc), such as muscles, fat, nerves and blood vessels. The second category is bone sarcoma, which are cancers that originate in the bone. (Rutgers Cancer Institute)

"I first reached out to this wonderful organisation over a year ago when we were planning for T's amputation - they have the most life changing mission and the gift of movement to sarcoma amputees is incredible. Despite being across the oceans, they have been a constant source of support and encouragement for our family! - Mom of sarcoma warrior, Baby T"
