2025 Move For Jenn Open – Powered by lululemon

The 4th Annual Move For Jenn Open, held on May 19, 2025 at TPC Piper Glen, was a truly unforgettable day of golf, giving, and great times. Hosted by the Move For Jenn Foundation, this annual event unites supporters, survivors, and the community to raise funds for sarcoma research and provide activewear prosthetics to sarcoma amputees.

This year, thanks to the generosity of our community and partners, over $131,000 was raised to fuel our mission—and lives were changed in real time!

Two Life-Changing Surprises

One of the most emotional moments of the day? When two sarcoma survivors in attendance were surprised with new activewear prosthetics. These life-enhancing tools will help them return to the activities they love—proving that life after limb loss can be full of motion, strength, and joy.

Landon, a courageous seven-year-old, recently lost his leg due to osteosarcoma. We were honored to be able to gift Landon a Mini Blade XT from Blatchford. This will allow him to get back to running and sponsors, allowing him to be a kid again.

We surprised Cricket, who was registered to golf with her friends and family, an Elon, which is a microprocessor prosthetic foot. The microprocessing ankle will memorize her cadence and allow her to walk easier on different terrain. She is excited to utilize this foot for hiking, mountain climbing and equestrian sports.

Special Moments

At the end of the event, we were honored to welcome MFJ grant recipient, Aiden Hanna to speak at the reception. Aiden shared about how his running blade, gifted by MFJ, changed his life. With it, he was able to return to his beloved pastime, baseball, his senior year of high school where he had a record season. He is now off to the University of Pittsburgh this August where we know he will continue to accomplish great things. We were honored to have Aiden and his dad fly to Charlotte to play in our tournament, and what made it even more special is that Aiden and his dad were able to golf with Rose Grosse and Richard Morrison, who funded Aiden's running blade through Move For Jenn.

Aiden was followed by Levine Cancer Institute Lead Researcher, Dr. Jagosky, who shared about how money the foundation has raised for a sarcoma specific research program has helped to change how doctors are looking at and diagnosing sarcoma, ultimately leading to better treatment options for those diagnosed with this rare cancer.
